But doesn’t it cost thousands of pounds to get a great website online?
Well that’s the thing, you could pay a web design company to make you a website and it would be great it would look lovely and have everything that you would want. However you’ve got to ask yourself the following things:
Would anyone find it?
No matter how nice a website is if you and your Gran are the only ones who can find it then it’s not doing its job. It’s not as simple as “build it and they will come” there are lots of elements that are required to enable people to find and use your website. Which is what’s going to make you money at the end of the day.
Will you be able to use it?
Another important thing about getting online is that you can use it. The main selling point of my service is that we deal with everything. However once you get a site and it’s optimised for people to find it, it’ll be up to you to keep it up to date. If this is complex you’ll soon loose interest and if you do there is no chance of your new sales channel succeeding. Included in my service is a 2 hour tutorial on how to use the site so you should be able to deal with everything from then!
Will it compliment your other forms of advertising?
There are plenty of other things that you will be doing, such as advertising in the yellow pages or sending out leaflets. We can help with this too. People remember words better than numbers, so even if they are just looking for your phone number they’ll go straight to your site to find it.
When thinking about websites you should be moving away from the mindset of “it’s something you should do” to “it’s something that will make me money”.
