Explain Ebay

What about Ebay, should I be on that too?
Yeah, definitely. And I can help with that too. Need to get going quickly? The easiest and quickest way to get your products out there is to get them on Ebay. What’s the other option? A leaflet drop? Lets compare:
Leaflet Drop
Cost: Depends on what you want to do, lets say £300
Targeting: Broad, not everyone who gets a leaflet will be wanting your product.
Risk: High, there is a high initial outlay and no guarantee of selling anything
Ebay
Cost: Pay per product, anything from 1p to £1 for the listing and then a % of the transaction cost.
Targeting: Your product will only be shown to people who are looking for it, that means they are more likely to buy
Risk: Low, the initial cost is very low and the targeting of the product is exact. Perfect when cash is low and you need to get sales in asap.
Combining an Ebay shop and a website gives you the extra edge. A website gives you coverage on google and your Ebay shop gives you another sales avenue. Meaning that as well as selling directly through your site you can also allow people to use Ebay.
